PROJECT BRIEF
Frida & Fred’s Children’s Museum asked us to create a Case Study Film / Documentation about their Augmented Reality adventure project “ARdventure”. The multi-year project took place in Graz’s “Center of Science Activities” and involved participants wearing AR headsets going on a journey through a variety of spaces whilst learning about topics such as climate change, history and more.
OUR APPROACH
We worked closely with the developers of the AR application – Endava – to help generate the “virtual perspectives” seen as overlays in the final film. In addition to capturing the live-action video material, we also captured a variety of HDR images that were then used in post-production to realistically light the virtual/3D element in the scenes.
Interviews with the project stakeholders were filmed in both Graz and Berlin.
TO SUM IT UP
The final Documentation gives a deep insight into both the conceptual background of the project as well as the technical components. The film has been used my Frida & Fred as well as other stakeholders to showcase the project.
