MINDCONSOLE was commisioned by Retter Events to create a VR game for their team-building events. In close cooperation with the client, MINDCONSOLE created three mini VR games for the Oculus Quest. The main goal was to create immersive cooperative experiences not only for the player currently wearing the VR headset, but for the entire team during the team-building event. To do that, we created a combination of analog/digital gameplay that kept everyone busy & entertained. While the VR player explores the world inside the headset and looks for clues, the team has to solve other riddles that will help the player move forward with the game.
One of the first steps is to understand our clients needs. We evaluate the entire situation and develop a plan that will present the client with all possible outcomes. After discussion with the client, they decide to move further with a certain solution, and we start producing.
Our development team proceeds with the production of the game. Creating and looking for assets, programming prototypes for the game and finally polishing the experience to meet the current industry standards.
We ensure that the client is satisfied with the results and that everything functions as expected. After the final round of feedback, the client receives the final product as an app with all of the solutions and necessary data.
The game is based on following principle:
The goal of the game is to have fun exploring the world as well as educating people on important environmental matters. Making people aware of how to correctly recycle is a first step for an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
The game is based on following principle:
Currently, the world offers a lot of environmentally friendly renewable energy sources that most of the people are not aware of. With the questionnaire that the team has to solve, all players will be receiving interesting information about every one of the energy sources available in the game. The VR player has to be informed by the team about the right answer and icon from the questionnaire, find the object with the corresponding icon within the game and place it to its predefined position. After all of the objects are placed correctly, the player receives a code which helps the team to move forward with the entire game.
The game is based on following principle:
Communication is key. The team has to tell the VR player which recycling bin should be used next. The VR player on the other hand, has to communicate all of the objects that are slowly floating downwards next to them. If the floating object corresponds with the current recycling bin colour in the table, the VR player has to grab the object and put it in the correct bin. After all 10 correctly placed objects, the game gives the player a code which will help to move further in the game.
